Identifying and winning new customers, projects and specification opportunities.
Driving revenue and margin growth through proactive account management, upselling and cross-selling.
Building relationships with contractors, developers, architects, specifiers and key decision-makers.
Engaging with customers early to influence specifications and secure profitable projects.
Supporting the development of accurate, competitive and technically compliant quotations.
Promoting the wider Group offering, including ironmongery packages, TS3 and TSGuard fire sealant systems.
Working closely with estimating, technical, manufacturing and project management teams to align customer requirements with project delivery.
Ensuring accurate CRM records, managing the sales pipeline and maintaining reliable sales forecasts.
Conducting account reviews to identify further sales and cross-selling opportunities.
Ensuring clear and accurate handovers from Sales to Project Management, covering technical, commercial and customer requirements.
Providing regular customer communication, reporting on opportunities and sharing market insights with internal teams.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in key account management and new business development.
Experience managing and growing customer accounts within construction, manufacturing or a related industry.
Technical knowledge of bespoke timber performance doorsets, including fire-rated and acoustic assemblies.
Understanding of ironmongery, fire sealant systems, third-party certification and relevant building regulations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on profitability and margin growth.
Excellent negotiation, influencing and customer relationship management skills.
Experience identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Strong organisation and follow-up skills, with experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system.
Experience coordinating effective handovers between Sales and Project Management.
A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach.
What we offer
Competitive salary.
40 hours per week.
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
